Fit Tip 4 – the slow post run run

Getting rid of lactic acid is a key way to reduce soreness after a workout or moderately intensive exercise.

In addition to the trick to hot shower / cold shower, an alternative is to slowly run for 3 or 4 minutes.

A slow run – after a rest – will raise your blood pressure and metabolic rate so that the blood can cleanse the muscles more thoroughly.

Remember, you are not trying to exercise hard; rather, just a gentle jogging pace to get your blood flowing, will make all the difference to how you feel when you climb out of bed tomorrow morning.
